Lamp re-do

I'm a sucker for a cool lamp. This one had a great pattern but just a tad ugly:

A little flat black spray paint and not bad. I wanted to go glossy white but was too impatient [lazy] to head out and buy more paint so I just used what I had...

Lame blogger, I know...

Eames shell find!

These were found behind a school storage shed and 'liberated' by a friend. They were all pretty disgusting with caked on bird poop [5 total]. Nasty. But the price was right and with an initial clean up, they're looking great. Four of them are near perfect, one had holes drilled through the seat to reattach to the base - sacrilege! But at least I have a matching set of four! Next up - replace the mounts. and get new bases...
